Transliteration: Huwa allathee jaAAala lakumu alarda thaloolan faimshoo fee manakibiha wakuloo min rizqihi wailayhi alnnushooru
He it is Who has subdued the earth to you. So walk about on its chest and eat of God' provisions. To Him you shall return on Resurrection.

Transliteration: Aamintum man fee alssamai an yakhsifa bikumu alarda faitha hiya tamooru
Do you feel secure that He Who is in the heaven would not cause you to sink underground, and the earth may start rocking suddenly?

Transliteration: Am amintum man fee alssamai an yursila AAalaykum hasiban fasataAAlamoona kayfa natheeri
Do you feel secure that He Who is in the heaven would not send a whirlwind charged with stones on you? Then you shall know how terrible was My warning!

Transliteration: Walaqad kaththaba allatheena min qablihim fakayfa kana nakeeri
And those who have gone before them also belied. Then see how severe was My chastisement!

Transliteration: Awalam yaraw ila alttayri fawqahum saffatin wayaqbidna ma yumsikuhunna illa alrrahmanu innahu bikulli shayin baseerun
Do they not see the birds above them, spreading their wings and closing them? None is upholding them but the Mercifu1. He it is Who watches over everything.

Transliteration: Amman hatha allathee huwa jundun lakum yansurukum min dooni alrrahmani ini alkafiroona illa fee ghuroorin
Tell, what army is there with you that can help you against the Merciful. The fact is that the disbelievers are lost in utter delusion.

Transliteration: Amman hatha allathee yarzuqukum in amsaka rizqahu bal lajjoo fee AAutuwwin wanufoorin
Or tell, who is there to provide for you if the Merciful should withhold His provision? In fact, these people persist in rebellion and aversion from the Truth.

Transliteration: Afaman yamshee mukibban AAala wajhihi ahda amman yamshee sawiyyan AAala siratin mustaqeemin
Just consider. Is he who is walking prone on his face better guided or he who is walking upright on a smooth road?

Transliteration: Qul huwa allathee anshaakum wajaAAala lakumu alssamAAa waalabsara waalafidata qaleelan ma tashkuroona
Say to them, "Allah it is Who created you, and gave you the faculties of hearing and sight and gave you the hearts to think and understand, but you are seldom grateful."

Transliteration: Qul huwa allathee tharaakum fee alardi wailayhi tuhsharoona
Say to them: Allah it is Who has dispersed you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered together.

Transliteration: Wayaqooloona mata hatha alwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena
They say, "When will this promise be fulfilled if what you say be true?"

Transliteration: Qul innama alAAilmu AAinda Allahi wainnama ana natheerun mubeenun
Say, "The knowledge of it is with Allah, I am only a plain warner."

Transliteration: Falamma raawhu zulfatan seeat wujoohu allatheena kafaroo waqeela hatha allathee kuntum bihi taddaAAoona
Then, when they see it close at hand, the faces of all those who disbelieve, shall be distorted, and at that time it will be said to them, "This is the same that you were calling for."

Transliteration: Qul araaytum in ahlakaniya Allahu waman maAAiya aw rahimana faman yujeeru alkafireena min AAathabin aleemin
Say to them, "Have you ever considered that even if Allah should destroy me and those with me, or should bestow mercy upon us, who will save the disbelievers from the painful torment?"

Transliteration: Qul huwa alrrahmanu amanna bihi waAAalayhi tawakkalna fasataAAlamoona man huwa fee dalalin mubeenin
Say to them, "He is the All-Merciful. In Him we have believed and in Him have we put our trust. Soon you will know who is involved in grave error."

Transliteration: Qul araaytum in asbaha maokum ghawran faman yateekum bimain maAAeenin
Say to them, "Have you ever considered that if the water of your wells should sink down into the earth, who would then restore to you the running springs of water?"
