Transliteration: Thalika waman yuAAaththim hurumati Allahi fahuwa khayrun lahu AAinda rabbihi waohillat lakumu alanAAamu illa ma yutla AAalaykum faijtaniboo alrrijsa mina alawthani waijtaniboo qawla alzzoori
Translation: This was (the object for which the Ka`bah was built,) and whoso observes the sanctity of the things ordained by Allah, it will be best for him in the sight of his Lord. And the cattle have been made lawful for you except what has already been mentioned to you; therefore guard yourselves against the filth of idols, and refrain from all false things.
