Translation: We have sent many Messengers before you and We assigned to them also wives and children: and no Messenger had the power to show any Sign without the sanction of Allah. Every age had its Book:

Translit: Walaqad arsalna rusulan min qablika wajaAAalna lahum azwajan wathurriyyatan wama kana lirasoolin an yatiya biayatin illa biithni Allahi likulli ajalin kitabun
